How can we sell these furnace filters so cheap?  Here are a few reasons:

• Volume!  We sell thousands of furnace filters every month.  This gives us leveraging power with our factory suppliers so that we can get the cheapest prices available on some of the best aftermarket furnace filters out there.  Volume also helps us with our shipping rates- the more we ship, the cheaper it gets.  Rather than put these savings in our pocket, we pass the value on to you, our customer.

• Location, Location, Location! We're located in Northern Indiana in the city of Huntington.  It puts us in a centrally located place that makes our shipping rates low since our highest volume of customers is right here in the Midwest with us.  We can be extremely competitive on pricing versus our competitors that are located out West and out East because our average shipping rate is much cheaper.

• Low Overhead! Many companies are ashamed to brag that they are a family run business.  We're proud of that fact because it makes our business model much more cost effective and efficient.  Our storage space for our filters isn't pretty, but it's cheap and it's dry. Additionally, we do all of our own website design and maintenance, saving thousands of dollars a year!  Now, again, we could make a little extra by charging what our competitors charge, but instead we pass that savings along to you.

• Factory Direct Purchasing! We purchase our filters directly from the manufacturer.  This creates a drastic reduction in our pricing vs. the competition.  Many of our competitors buy their filters from a wholesaler, who buys the filters from the 'name brand' company, and the name brand company actually buys the filters from somewhere else- they just have their name put on it and have it made to their specifications.  Each step in that process adds a little (or a lot!) of extra costs.  When our filters get to us they're still warm from the factory!!! 

• It's What We're All About!  The idea for SimplyFilters.com started after I had to buy a furnace filter locally.  I thought it was absolutely crazy to pay $47.00 for a furnace filter for my new furnace.  My problem was that in our town, no one else sold the size I needed.  I was stuck paying way more than I needed to.  I figured that there has to be other people out there in the same position and saw an opportunity.  Two years later, taking the website experience I had gained from our  first web business (www.BrainPuzzles.com), I started SimplyFilters.com with the sole purpose of providing a cost effective option to the high priced filters that local stores sell.

Many people think that you get what you pay for and that the cheaper alternative isn't always the best.  I'm here to prove that old adage wrong.  If you purchase a filter from us, and you're not completely satisfied, let us know and we'll make it right or give you your money back!  That's a promise.
