Shipping Details:

Over the years we've always tried to keep our shipping costs as low as possible and for a long time we tried a flat rate shipping method.  We've determined that this wasn't the best thing after over three years of the same shipping price.  Why? Because we had to set our prices based on the filters shipping to Timbucktwo (near Lake Wobegon) from our warehouse in Indiana.  This looked like a great deal to the guy in California, but what about the guy in Illinois?  For a while we were actually loosing money for shipments to Washington, while breaking even to most places past the Mississippi river.  Our immediate fix was to stop shipping filters to California, Washington, Nevada and Oregon.  More recently though, we've changed our shipping rates to still be able to offer the same LOW flat rate shipping of $7.95 per case to half of the continental US to remain competitive, but we've raised shipping rates to some of the more distant states.  (We also now have Single filter rates listed at the bottom of each column).
